picture 1 About Us

The Telephone Box Performance Company (TBPC) specialises in working with offenders and ex-offenders, developing arts programmes that address issues such as drug addiction, social exclusion and recidivism. Established in 2001, the charity has developed a unique and successful format using participatory drama as a catalyst for change. Our work is recognised as achieving outstanding results with offenders. picture 2

The charity places an emphasis on providing our beneficiaries with continuous access to our work, and uses an innovative approach to rehabilitation. We are committed to sustaining our relationship with penal institutions, in order to encourage the Prison Service to support the arts more widely. We believe in the importance of artistic quality and strive to produce contextual work, which reflects the cultural identity of our participants. picture 3 We provide programmes that are experiential and which encourage participants to draw upon and nurture their talents.

Mission Statement
